Happy Birthday to me!
My style is focused on being casual and comfortable, so this sweater suits me perfectly. It's lightweight but still warm and it's very soft and cozy. I also love how simple this sweater is - it can be dressed up or dressed down and it's perfect for layering. Also, it's purple, my favourite colour, so obviously I'm in love.
I wanted to look stylish for my birthday, but I'm always cold so sometimes I find it hard to balance style with warmth. That's where this sweater comes in, it's perfect for that. I paired this sweater with a simple black skirt and some thick tights, to keep me warm and and cozy while also looking done up for the occasion.
I also added a gold head piece to amp up the outfit just a bit. The head piece is actually just a metal head band that I decided to wear like a crown. Get creative! You likely have lots of clothes and accessories that are versatile and can be worn in ways other than their intended use, you just have to experiment.
As I mentioned, this sweater was a gift. I can't find the exact one online, however some gorgeous patterned pullovers that are similar in style can be found on the Roots website, here // Headband from Accessorize // Tights from Primark // Skirt from River Island // Socks were a gift.
I apologize that the picture quality isn't the best. It's very cold and snowy out so I wasn't able to get outside and take photos. I settled for a festive look, although the lighting in my house isn't great.
